Springfield Rescue Mission
The Springfield Rescue Mission opened its doors on September 15, 1892, located above a laundry on Stanford Street in Springfield, MA. Now located at 19 Bliss Street, its mission remains the same--to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the hungry, homeless, addicted and poor by introducing them to Christ and helping them apply the Word of God to every area of their lives.

Dwight and Diana Willard and family
Dwight is taking a new position with Word of Life Fellowship in Schroon Lake NY as the National Coordinator of Operations for Local Church Ministries. The Willards are trusting God to put the puzzle pieces together as they go thru this transition while they continue to cover Southern and Central New England untill a new missionary is in place. The purpose of Word of Life Fellowship is to reach young people for the Lord and to challenge them to reach their world for Christ through various activities and programs that are fun, exciting, and consistent with the Holy Scriptures. The Willards assist local churches in establishing Word of Life Clubs for teens aged 13 - 19 as well as Olympian programs for children in grades 1 – 6 and Gopher programs for children ages 4 - 5. In addition, the Willards are involved in the Teens Involved Program, as well as in organizing events such as Reverb, basketball marathons and FasCar rallies.
